Ye Olde Grabbing Hande

Over at The Freeman, Sheldon Richman takes on state intervention in voluntary exchange.

  1. Show me any single transaction that doesn't take place in an environment constrained by violence. That's just not a useful distinction, to me. Last I checked, enforcement of contracts is a requirement for functioning property rights, and conventional ownership.
